On Friday night, after a long day at the studio office, you will find Geneva’s creative types spilling out into the parking lot of the Petit Reine. It is a space of cultural vocation, where you can catch a concert, a DJ set or an exhibition and where you are sure to meet a local artist or two.

The Usine (which translates as “factory”) is Geneva’s leading underground cultural center. This establishment is the foundation of Geneva’s digital art and electronic music, and has a bit of everything to offer: concerts, theater, workshops, and cinema.

This nightclub, founded in 2010, is located in Geneva’s notorious industrial zone above an inconspicuous mechanic’s shop. The grit is energizing and queuing behind the crisscross gates, it feels like you have been teleported to Detroit in the 80’s.

QUARTIER DES BAINS
Geneva’s answer to Brooklyn with infinite art galleries, cozy shops, and independent stores. Three times a year, the galleries in the neighborhood host the “Nuit des Bains,” an evening dedicated to new exhibitions.

LA VILLA BERNASCONI
Villa Bernasconi includes four to five exhibitions of visual arts, comics, and illustration per year and hosts readings by contemporary authors, performances, children’s workshops, internships, and artist residencies.

This building was originally a chemical plant, but now offers an intoxicating weekly selection of electronic music. A two-faced club with one space designed as a black box, and the other decorated like a retro bar.
